Welcome to “The Task”
The year is 1997. You and your partner are Agent 1 and Agent 2, trying to hack into the computer of a master criminal. You’re both at different crime scenes, with two different sets of clues. With only walkie-talkies in hand, you quickly realize that you’re going to have to work together to crack the computer’s password. Unfortunately, 1997 is before smartphones so you’re going to have to compare your notes VERBALLY and not visually.
The Rules:
Choose a game partner. Decide who is Agent 1 and Agent 2.
Agent 1 MAY ONLY look at the Agent 1 Clue Card (please print if possible)
Agent 2 MAY ONLY look at the Agent 2 Clue Card (please print if possible)
You may play in the same room or in different locations (over the phone) BUT...
NEVER show your partner your clue card. That’s what makes it fun/challenging.
Please have a pencil or pen, as some puzzles require writing on your clue card.
Remember - this is a co-op game. You’re both working together to solve a common problem.
When you think you’ve solved the final code word, test it by clicking on the appropriate link below. All lower-case please. No penalties for wrong guesses.
You may use the Internet as a research tool as you solve puzzles.
